Choice Health Centre is looking for 1–2 energetic, personable, and detail-oriented Patient Care Specialists to join our growing team in Fall River, NS. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, greeting them with warmth, professionalism, and a smile, both in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional, and efficient clinic experience. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for.
  • Manage appointments and scheduling for patients and providers, including changes and follow-ups.
  • Handle patient communications—answering phones, responding to inquiries, and providing information in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Process payments and insurance claims with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support daily clinic operations, including managing supplies, handling mail and documents, overseeing laundry, and maintaining tidiness throughout the centre.
  • Collaborate with the team by participating in staff meetings, clinical rounds, and occasional community outreach events.
