Description

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patient and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with TGH’s mission, vision, and values. High school diploma or G.E.D required. Florida CNA license required. Hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician delivers direct and indirect care, addressing patient dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety, and physical/psychological comfort measures. This work is performed under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff.
