PCT/PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN TRAINEE- FULL-TIME, NIGHTS

Work location: Texas Health Harris Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Ave TX 76104
Work environment: Nursing Units ; candidate must be willing to commit to any unit upon time of application. Exact unit to be determined during the selection process.
Training hours during paid apprenticeship: Full Time; Monday – Friday , Days , 36- 40 hours per week between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
Work hours: 36 hours per week , Night Shift , 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Req
Licenses and Certifications
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req

Complete PCT apprenticeship program. Curriculum to include:

  • Basic patient care skills
  • Patient rights, communication, safety, observation and reporting
  • Assisting patients in maintaining basic comfort and safety

Skills
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills.
