Overview Position: Patient Care Technician Location: Positions available at Methodist, Lutheran, and Methodist West Shift: Part-Time Day/ Evening hours; 12, 16, 20, or 24 hours per week. Weekend and Holiday rotation. Part Time Benefits Eligible Provides direct care for patients. This position is designed specifically for High School students who participate in School to Work, Internship or similar programs or are looking for part time work with guaranteed hours to gain experience in a healthcare role. This opportunity is based on availability and department needs. Positions are limited and not guaranteed; applicant review and selection will be based on department needs and schedule availability. Qualifications License(s)/Certification(s): Basic Certified Nursing Aid certification required Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire. Other: Must be 16 years of age or older Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
