Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Department: Med/Surg Reports To: Director of Nursing / Charge Nurse Location: Meade District Hospital Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) to provide direct, individualized personal care to patients and to help maintain a positive physical and psychosocial environment. CNAs work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and report directly to the charge nurse. Qualifications: Must hold an active CNA certification. Must be in good standing with the State of Kansas. Responsibilities: Meet attendance and punctuality standards. Follow the facility dress code (no t-shirts, tank tops, cut-offs, open-toed shoes, or jeans except on Fridays). Attend monthly departmental meetings and All-Staff in-service programs. Treat residents, their families, and co-workers with respect and courtesy. Complete mandatory education requirements by due dates (e.g., CareLearning courses). Follow all policies, procedures, and Standards of Behavior. Function independently, showing flexibility, integrity, and professionalism. Help other CNAs even when not assigned to the same hall; adapt to changing work areas as needed. Additional responsibilities will be gone over when hired.
