JOB SUMMARY AND QUALIFICATIONS

As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be a crucial member of our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for patients. Your support brings comfort, dignity, and connection to those who need it most—and helps make our mission to improve lives a reality for patients every day.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date

Responsibilities
  • Providing care for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, and assisting with movement, to keep patients comfortable and supported
  • Checking vital signs, collecting specimens, and sharing updates with the nursing team to support timely, informed care
  • Maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked patient rooms by following infection prevention standards and keeping the environment organized
  • Preparing patients for procedures and responding promptly to call lights and patient needs
  • Caring for patients like family by communicating clearly, showing empathy, and guiding them and their families throughout every step of their care
