You’ll be responsible for transporting patients to various areas, assisting with pre- and post-procedure care, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your work directly contributes to positive patient outcomes and supports the overall efficiency of the clinic. Key Responsibilities: 1. Patient Transport and Care: * Transport patients to and from the waiting room, pre-op area, operating room, PACU, and to their vehicle, ensuring their comfort and privacy. * Assist patients with changing before and after procedures and obtain vital signs as needed. 2. Clinic Maintenance and Safety: * Maintain a clean and organized environment by cleaning bays and procedure rooms between cases and assisting with terminal cleaning at the end of the day. * Distribute clean linens and scrubs to appropriate areas and help keep PPE and supplies well-stocked. 3. Procedure Room Preparation: * Assist with turning over procedure rooms between cases and prepare bed rolls and patient packs for the next day. * Ensure all supplies are in place and ready for use, supporting the materials manager in inventory management. 4. Patient Support: * Provide additional patient care assistance, such as helping with urinals, bedpans, and emesis basins. * Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers, fostering a respectful and positive environment. 5. Compliance and Professional Conduct: * Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, supporting the facility's mission, goals, and objectives. * Recognize and uphold patients' rights and responsibilities, ensuring that all actions are in line with safety standards and regulations. * Report any observed or suspected safety violations or noncompliance to the appropriate personnel. 6. Additional Duties: * Perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support the smooth functioning of the clinic. Qualifications: * Education and Experience: * High school diploma or GED, plus specialized training or on-the-job education in a relevant skill area. * 0 to 6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: * CPR certification. * Preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. * Software Skills: * Basic proficiency in word processing and typing.
