Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Intermediate Care-Cardiac PCU Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Albuquerque, NM.

• Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center is New Mexico’s only hospital dedicated exclusively to cardiovascular care, including the state’s only facility performing left ventricular aortic device (LVAD) implant and a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room.

• Works under the moderate supervision of nursing and medical staff to perform all duties of a PCT, which include assisting patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered Nurses or other medical staff.
• Obtains and records patients’ vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests.
• Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties.
• Additionally, this position measures and records patients’ intake and output and other measurements in accordance with unit routines, assists patients with range of motion, and draws blood
