Patient Care Tech – Float Pool Unit at Providence Newberg Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, day shift opening (7am-7:30pm, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. Required Qualifications: * Coursework/Training: For hires after 07/26/2023: * Completion of a MA program (not required to maintain certification after hire), Or * Completion of first semester nursing program, Or * EMT program completion (not required to maintain certification after hire) Or equivalent educ/experience, Or * 1 year of acute patient care experience, Or * 6 months experience in a direct patient care environment in providing clerical support related to Provider or Patient documentation or charting. * Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association * Experience with basic data entry. * 6 months Phlebotomy skills.
