Description
Description Provides patient care in the facility in accordance with the physician's orders and facility policies and processes under direct supervision of licensed personnel. Collaborates with other team members to provide patient care. Seeks assistance when indicated by patient's condition or when care requires licensed staff. Transfers patient to/from waiting room and discharge to car. Obtains vital signs. Reports any out of range findings. Explains facility process to patient. Assists patients with care needs while in facility, including but not limited to dressing, ambulating, and positioning. Maintains clean environment utilizing appropriate infection control guidelines. Respects privacy of patients at all times. Maintains supplies per protocol. Assists with procedures under direct supervision as appropriate. Ability to work at other locations as needed. Must be open to cross training and learning other areas as needed Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday Requirements HS Graduate or Equivalent, BLS Certified (Preferred) Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, staff and physicians. Must possess compassion and empathy with patients. Must have the ability to perform duties with little to no supervision. Must have the ability to follow direction from nurse manager, physician or administrator.
