Schedule: Full Time Shift: Night Location: 1035 Red Bud Road, Northeast Calhoun, GA 30701 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Gordon The role you’ll contribute: The Patient Care Tech works under supervision of the professional nurse, assisting in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age specific groups identified in the position responsibilities. Adheres to the AdventHealth Orlando Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you’ll bring to the team: Assists in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse. Documents and reports all procedures in accordance with department policy. Participates in obtaining a nursing history and reports abnormalities to the registered nurse. Assists in identifying patient needs and developing or modifying the plan of care. Performs treatments according to policy and procedure, providing patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture. The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equivalent Required 1+ year of applicable PCT experience Required Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience Required Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required and Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Required
