Overview Shift: Monday - Friday 6a-630p, two-12 hour shifts rotating days. Call required. Shift differentials offered for qualifying shifts Under the supervision of an RN provides direct patient care. Provides technical services and support for patients undergoing surgery and their family. Provides and documents care including, but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility, specimen collection and respiratory support activities as directed by the RN. Possess the ability to lift, move, position and transport patients. Demonstrates the ability to meet the department work schedule. Demonstrates initiative to improve quality of care, patient and employee safety, and customer service. Qualifications Must be 18 years old or older. Certified Nursing Aid certification required. Dept of Labor Level III (Medium) Work.

Responsibilities

A Patient Care Technician (PCT) will perform patient care and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include documenting care, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing mobility and respiratory support.
