Description Job Summary: Patient Concierge The Harman Eye Clinic is a progressive, nationally recognized ophthalmic medical and surgical practice with extensive experience across a wide variety of eye surgical services, advanced technology, and proven results. We are seeking a Patient Concierge to join our team and provide exceptional service in a team-oriented clinical environment, helping ensure patients receive outstanding care from the moment they arrive. No prior experience in eye care is required. We provide full training for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone outgoing, personable, and passionate about helping people. Duties/Responsibilities: Deliver personalized service during patient registration, including greeting patients, updating information, and collecting co-pays. Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, families, and visitors. Assist patients with paperwork and manage escalated situations effectively. Schedule provider appointments and ensure necessary pre-certifications, prior authorizations, and interpreter services are obtained. Collect payments, issue receipts, and follow procedures to complete transactions accurately. Maintain accurate cash records and balance daily transactions. Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming. Maintain working knowledge of office equipment and oversee supply inventory and restocking. Prepare and maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records, forms, and registration materials in compliance with company policies. Ensure HIPAA compliance in the handling and protection of medical records. Track and order office supplies as needed. Perform other duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude. Requirements Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, and Windows environments. Flexible and willing to help in all areas; effective team player. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. Capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic setting. Strong time management and adaptability in a changing environment. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. One (1) year of general office experience; healthcare setting preferred.
