Requirements What You’ll Do As a Patient Concierge, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Deliver a personalized and friendly patient experience during registration, including greeting patients, updating demographic and financial information, and collecting co-pays Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions, including assisting with paperwork and managing dynamic or escalated situations with professionalism and empathy Schedule provider appointments, obtain pre-certifications and prior authorizations, and coordinate interpreters as needed Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and complete all required documentation Balance daily cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records Prepare and maintain electronic medical records and registration materials in accordance with company policies Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area Operate and maintain office equipment and manage supply inventory, and ordering The support team needs to be flexible and perform additional duties as required What You Bring Strong customer service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic math proficiency and attention to detail Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and Windows-based systems Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support all areas of the practice Effective problem-solving and time management skills Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one (1) year of general office experience; healthcare experience preferred Why Join Northwest Eyes?
