Lumea is a state-of-the-art surgical centre performing refractive and premium cataract procedures.
We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Consultant to join our team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for educating patients on procedures offered at our clinic as well as scheduling and preparing patients for their upcoming appointments. This being a position that represents the core essence of our clinic, while maintaining our Gold Standard approach, we are looking for the following attributes:

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in an ophthalmology clinic or relevant role is an asset, however, outstanding individuals who possess strong relevant skills will be considered.
Education: Minimum Grade 12 minimum
Remuneration will be based on skillset and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

• Responds to phone calls, emails, and communications in an efficient, timely & professional manner
• Provides a clear channel of communication and coordination to all doctors, staff, patients, vendors & referring physicians
• Educates patients on the surgical option they are deemed a candidate for, schedules their surgery and prepares them with all the necessary paperwork and information required.
