  • Are you a medical assistant or registered nurse? Then we are looking for you – for our patient coordination team in the central pool at the Virchow Clinic campus, specifically for the children's hospital. We offer you a dedicated team within the pool and structured training (tailored to your skills and experience) in the potential areas of responsibility. 

The position at a glance

  • They can expect diverse and responsible tasks in managing patients, focusing on admission, treatment, and discharge. 
  • They are the link between all professional groups, the patients and their relatives, as well as the referring and follow-up care providers.
  • They are responsible for a holistic view of the patients and for determining their needs in connection with their hospital stay and discharge.
  • They coordinate and organize the inpatient stay from admission to discharge. 
  • They promote multi-professional communication and the integration of processes in the interest of patient safety and satisfaction during the admission and discharge process. 

Then we are looking for

  • They have successfully completed vocational training as a medical assistant or nursing professional. 
  • They possess a sense of quality and responsibility.
  • They are friendly, team-oriented, communicative and approachable, highly committed, able to adapt flexibly to situations and maintain composure and an overview in challenging situations. 
  • They can empathize with patients and their families and have a quick grasp of the overall situation. 
  • They desire cooperative and constructive collaboration within a multi-professional team and wish to contribute to it. 
  • They have good computer skills.
  • They have a strong interest in internal and external networking and in professional/personal development.
