Your tasks

• As a patient coordinator in the field of spinal surgery, you ensure the structured, patient-oriented and interdisciplinary coordination of all administrative, medical and social processes during elective neurosurgical procedures.
• They are the central point of contact for our patients and their families and ensure the flow of information between all professional groups involved in order to enable an efficient treatment process and optimal admission and discharge planning.
• They coordinate admission and discharge dates, plan the associated consultations in neurosurgery, and organize specialist consultations (e.g., nutritional counseling, physiotherapy, etc.).
• They are responsible for ensuring correct project documentation.
• They maintain our SIRIS database.
• In addition, you will support the spinal surgery secretariat with administrative tasks.

Your profile

• They have completed training in the healthcare sector, preferably in nursing, or a medical-administrative qualification with professional experience.
• They possess a strong patient- and service-oriented mindset.
• They have experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or case management.
• They possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
• They enjoy working in a structured and independent manner.
• They are familiar with hospital information systems, preferably KISIM.
