As a Patient Coordinator, you will be the friendly face and guiding voice for our families from appointment scheduling through follow-up. You’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment, managing patient communication, coordinating logistics, and ensuring each family feels informed and supported. Duties/ Responsibilities: Deliver a distinctive patient experience with every patient both in person and over the phone Answer calls, and schedule new and existing patients for dental treatment Welcome patients into the office upon arrival, gathering necessary information such as patient demographics, insurance information, and updated health history. Maintain a clean and welcoming patient waiting area Collect patient payments and post them to their patient ledger Update necessary documents into patient chart Outbound calls to patients for confirming upcoming appointments Additional duties as needed such as assisting with laundry, taking out the trash, refilling supplies in restrooms, and any other necessary tasks in our office Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or higher in healthcare-administration or related field preferred. Previous experience in a dental, pediatric, or customer service role preferred. Outstanding communication skills—warm, friendly, clear. Comfortable working with children and families, and able to convey information in a calm, reassuring manner. Basic knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes is a plus.
