OVERVIEW:

Are you interested in health, connect well with others and love kids? Atlas chiropractic is seeking for a highly personable and organized individual with clear, concise communication skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing support to both staff and patients. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for managing front desk activities, handling patient inquiries, and other various administrative tasks. This is a 12–18-month position (Maternity Coverage), with the potential to extend.
We are a family wellness clinic located in the heart of The Junction neighbourhood in Toronto. At Atlas Chiropractic, it’s our mission to be a community-centered practice dedicated to uplifting and empowering families. We strive to create impact on the lives we serve through chiropractic, connection & education.
The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in our team. We are looking for a motivated individual that is ready to step up and join our growing community.
~25 hours/week, fixed schedule:
Tuesdays: 8:30am-3pm
Wednesday: 8:30pm-4pm
Friday: 8am-6pm
Alternate Saturdays: 8am-1pm
*Potential for additional hours to cover for other staff
PAY: $23/hour, or higher based on experience, plus 2 weeks of paid time off per year

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highly personable and outgoing
  • Love connecting with people of all ages (infants to seniors)
  • Be considerate, caring and empathetic
  • Holds high ethical standards and values
  • Organized, self-motivated and has a growth mindset
  • Passionate about health & eager to learn about chiropractic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & general computer skills
  • Previous front desk or chiropractic experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities
  • Connect & interact with patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
  • Schedule appointments, manage office flow & receive payments
  • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to update patient information accurately.
  • Manage front desk operations; administration duties (emails, voicemails, filing, data entry, inventory, track statistics etc.)
  • Assist with planning office promotions/activities & community involvement
