Description We are seeking an experienced New Patient Coordinator for a growing solo practice of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Located in Pleasanton, the practice is recognized for its cutting-edge approach to patient service, efficient care and modern design. The new patient coordinator interacts with new patients via the telephone to prepare for their initial office visit. The coordinator will acquire all important demographic and insurance information to input into electronic medical records. They will be responsible for insurance benefit verification and communication of such. In addition, the coordinator will work in telephone reception, to serve the patients in communication with the practice. They will be responsible for medical records and disability forms. The position will be a part-time position without benefits, approximately 25-30 hours per week. There will be potential for a full-time position in the future. Salary will be based on experience. Requirements for the position: Previous medical experience in an outpatient office setting is required.
