Description
Patient Experience - Customer Relations Partner Basic Purpose of the Job Serves on the front line of patient and visitor interactions at the front desk in GRMC’s main lobby and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Customer Relations Department. Provides assistance for patients, visitors and GRMC team members by performing various administrative roles including issuing visitor badges, logging in visitors, screening visitors based upon patient requests, answering questions, providing information, explaining policies, addressing concerns, and directing patients and visitors to the proper individual or location using verification data through GRMC’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) known as AllScripts. Assists in coordinating and administering hospital tours. Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent education / experience Minimum Work Experience Two to three years' experience in a service industry preferably in a healthcare setting with demonstrated effective communication skills is desired. Required Sills, Knowledge and Abilities Must be able to represent the Customer Relations Department. Ability to maintain confidentiality is crucial. Ability to be flexible with hours and to work under pressure. Excellent judgment needed. Must be Customer Relations oriented.
