UPMC Northwest Hospital Seneca, PA Status: Flex Full Time (28-40 hours/week) Shift: Evening/weekend mix of 8 & 12 hours shifts, rotating weekends and holidays Create a welcoming, seamless experience for patients and visitors by supporting a variety of hospital needs. From guiding guests and assisting with transport to helping with supplies and comfort measures, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional care from first to last impression. Responsibilities: Destination Coordination Provide warm, helpful guidance to patients and visitors, ensuring they reach the right destination. Share appropriate information while maintaining confidentiality. Assist with parking validation, scooter distribution, guest inquiries, and tracking patient belongings. Environmental Services Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient rooms and public areas. Remove trash, replenish supplies, change linens, and report maintenance needs to leadership. Dietary Services Assemble and deliver meals according to diet orders. Follow all food safety standards, ensure proper patient identification, and assist with additional nourishment requests. Transportation Services Safely transport patients, equipment, and specimens throughout the hospital. Document all transports, disinfect equipment, and report repair needs as they arise. Supply & Equipment Management Order, stock, and organize unit supplies and equipment. Deliver materials promptly, check expiration dates, maintain temperature logs, and support room readiness. General Support Answer unit phones, assist with call lights under clinical direction, socialize with patients to identify needs, and round regularly. Print plans of care, support patient mobility as appropriate, maintain unit resources, and uphold infection-prevention standards. Demonstrate UPMC values and ensure a positive patient experience in every interaction. Other duties as assigned. Must have the desire, drive, and compassion needed to provide an exceptional patient and family experience at all times. High School diploma OR active High School/GED program enrollment OR one year of previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
