Newberry Health is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Services (PFS) Account Representative I to join our exceptional team. Job Summary: The Patient Financial Services Account Representatives are responsible for analyzing accounts receivable, resolving unpaid claims and handling billing inquiries. This includes follow up with third party payers as well as patients to ensure that payment is received in accordance with the payer contract. PFS Account Representatives comply with all applicable federal and state billing laws and regulations. Work is performed collaboratively with all team members of hospital departments, physicians and physician office staff, third party payers and patients to ensure accurate and timely payment.
