Where you fit in The Patient Insurance Representative will ensure timely verification of insurance coverage, notification of admission, and authorization provided to hospital for services provided. The representative will promote financial viability and mitigate risk of financial liability for the network by collecting and verifying insurance demographics, securing prior authorizations, and/or pre notifications, and by working collaboratively with payers and members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that required information is provided to the payers.
