JOB SUMMARY

The Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the flow of patient information and ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and processed efficiently. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology and coding. The Intake Coordinator will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate smooth operations within the medical office or clinic setting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD), and billing processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and 10-key typing ability.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Experience in customer service roles is beneficial for enhancing patient experience. This position is essential for ensuring that our patients receive timely care while maintaining the integrity of their health information.
