Description Promptcare is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Management Representative to join our team. The Representative will be responsible for the management of all insurance, therapy and dose changes for active patients receiving therapy from Promptcare. They will be responsible for communication and coordination with the payor, patient, and all internal departments to report the impact of these changes. Reporting to: Departmental Lead, Supervisor or Manager Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday Requirements High School Diploma. Associates preferred Previous experience working with healthcare professionals is preferred Previous benefit verification/reauthorization experience highly preferred Excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking skills are required Clear verbal communication and concise documenting skills are required Previous experience with specialty pharmacy patient admissions and/or customer service in a similar referral source-based practice setting is strongly preferred Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Benefit Verification for Insurance Changes, Therapy Changes & Dose Changes New / ReAuthorization under new insurance plan for insurance changes New / ReAuthorizations for drug or dose changes under existing plan Update payor information and binoculars in CPR Update existing orders to show the correct payor in CPR CCX Monthly Verifications Manage internal email communication to and from other departments Attend to Urgent / Same Day Requests Other duties as assigned Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies of 20 pounds but no more than 35 pounds.
