The Burg Wernberg Clinic is a private acute care clinic for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy in Wernberg-Köblitz. Currently, up to 24 patients can be treated in a very upscale setting. Our aim is to offer a highly personalized and individualized therapy program. The range of treatments covers conditions from the entire field of psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy.
To strengthen our team in Wernberg-Köblitz, we are looking for you to start as soon as possible as
Patient Management Staff (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- They conduct telephone and in-person consultations with (potential) clients and patients.
- They are responsible for the admission planning and administrative admission of patients.
- They take over the admission and discharge management (administrative control of individual cases)
- They are responsible for recording patient data and correctly classifying it as outpatient, inpatient, or day-patient.
- They handle all admission formalities, including contracts for optional services.
- Providing advice and clarification regarding insurance-related matters before and during our patients' stay falls within your area of responsibility.
- They are responsible for telephone and in-person correspondence with doctors, insurance companies and referring physicians.
- They are the contact person for patient concerns and act as an interface to service providers, inpatient billing, patient admission and receivables management.
- They support sales activities with payers and referring agencies.
- They also take on other administrative, organizational and support tasks, such as bed coordination.
They bring with them:
- Training in a commercial field or with a medical background, e.g. as a medical assistant (m/f/d), office clerk (m/f/d), healthcare administrator (m/f/d) or hotel clerk (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- Patient and service orientation, very good communication skills, and empathy.
- Strong teamwork, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ideally, clinical work experience in the field of psychiatry.
- Secure use of standard MS Office software
