Your tasks:

  • Personal registration, welcome and administrative support of patients upon hospital admission and throughout the entire patient journey
  • Ensuring a smooth administrative and organizational process for patients, the therapy team, and the medical management.
  • Maintenance and administration of patient-related data as well as management of the document history in the digital patient record.
  • Preparation and processing of daily rate billing including maintenance of the invoice book and monitoring in accounts receivable.
  • Billing of medical services according to the German Fee Schedule for Physicians (GOÄ) (especially treatments by chief physicians)
  • Organization of treatment extensions and correspondence with private health insurance companies, aid offices and cost bearers.
  • Function as contact person and assistant to the chief physician, as well as monitoring compliance with deadlines in medical correspondence.
  • Interface and coordination between administration, nursing, therapy and medical services

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed commercial or medical training (e.g., medical assistant, healthcare administrator) or a degree in health management, social work, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in the healthcare sector as well as in medical documentation and billing (GOÄ, daily rates) is an advantage.
  • Proficient use of MS Office and internal hospital IT systems
  • Reliable, independent, proactive and structured work style with a high degree of personal responsibility and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy and discretion in dealing with patients, payers and internal teams
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a consistently polite and friendly demeanor.
