Details Department: Virtual Safety Monitor Schedule: Full Time; Nights, 3 (12-hour) shifts/week. Office setting environment, no hands on patient care. Will work every 3rd weekend, 1 major winter and summer holiday per year on rotating basis. Responsibilities Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients. Responsibilities: Monitor patients by use of video monitors. Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device. Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level. Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. Additional Preferences Prefer clinical experience in a hospital setting or as a primary care taker. Basic Computer skills required. Excellent communication required.
