Patient Navigator Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Patient Navigator Work location: 612 East Lamar Arlington, Texas 76011 Work environment: Remote Contact Center – onsite training may be required Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday, (8am – 5pm) Department Highlights: · Remote Opportunity · Opportunity to enhance your goals and values Here’s What You Need: · High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED) · One year of Customer Service experience (REQUIRED) · One year of experience in a contact center environment, referral processing and scheduling experience and/or healthcare environment (PREFERRED) · BCPA within 18 months of hire (PREFERRED) What You Will Do: · Process and complete referrals as directed by Primary Care Providers, following Patient Navigation protocols and expectations. · Utilizes exceptional customer service skills to communicate with patients, referring and service providers, and clinic staff to complete referrals accurately and expediently to minimize errors and reduce delays in care. · Documents referral information in tracking program to be consistent with documentation in the EMR · Submits documentation to obtain insurance referral authorizations and pre-certification for ancillary services, diagnostic testing, and imaging. · May educate patient on expectations.
