Description
The Patient Registration Associate is responsible for setting up patient appointment, financial counseling, registration, medical records, receptionist and other administrative and clerical functions in the Ambulatory Care Clinics. Qualifications * High School Graduate or GED * Successful completion of a course in billing. * One (1) to two (2) years in health care clerical related experience * Must speak English proficiently.  Legible handwriting * Moderate to strong data processing, computer and typing skills * Ability to meet public, communicate clearly on the telephone, interact with patients, staff and other hospital departments * Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in a pressured environment.
Responsibilities
The associate manages patient appointments, registration, and financial counseling within Ambulatory Care Clinics. They also handle medical records and perform various administrative and clerical functions.
