Overview As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes knowledge and skills to improve the experience of patients and families in CWCH (Center for Women’s and Children’s Health,) by rounding with patients and families, provides oversight to First Impression volunteers, provides follow up to written and verbal feedback from patients and families, and provides education to CWCH staff around patient family experience. Reviews Press Ganey survey’s including comments and follow’s up with patients as appropriate. Oversees the First Impression Volunteers in the Center for Women’s and Children’s Health (CWCH.) Primary contact for our antepartum patients, to ensure they have what they need for hospital stay. Coordinates massages and activities for these patients. Serves on the CWCH Patient Family Experience committee. Provides education at the division level around improving and creating an excellent Patient Family Experience. Charge Capture Review Reviews all Birth Care Center billing, which includes outpatient, inpatient and OR charges, to include: Triage, OB, and newborn charges and handles all corrections. Supports system initiatives as they relate to charge capture. Birth Care Center payroll/NICU Follow-up Program Supports payroll in the Birth Care Center, and serves as the information specialist of payroll policies at St. Luke’s. Coordinates the NICU Infant Follow-Up Program, by scheduling and monitoring appointments. Qualifications High School diploma Customer/patient focused Multicultural sensitivity Professionalism Written and verbal communication skills Planning and Organizing Technical aptitude Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
