Duties and Responsibilities: Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for patients and families. Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect. Responds to patient inquiries regarding physicians and services and resolve questions/concerns Ensure coordination of communication between patients and families and medical staff Respond to patients’ complaints regarding hospital services and ensure that concerns are handled properly Communicate with patients requested to be contacted through Press Ganey. Follow –up calls for patients After Hospital discharge. Assist patients with problems associated with hospital registration and admission. Ensure that all concerns and complaints are directed to the concerned personnel with a hospital Schedule meetings with patients or family members and ensure that corresponding physician or hospital staff’s availability Provide feedback to patients and families regarding their concerns and complaints QUALIFICATIONS: Evidence of customer service skills/training and ability to collaborate with a variety of individuals across the organization. Evidence of highly refined interpersonal skills, skills in conflict resolution, problem solving, program planning, and writing and verbal communication skills Arabic is essential Preferable with English PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years’ experience as Patients ‘relation officer in a hospital Ability to work independently and facilitate teamwork within the Department and with others in the hospital. SPECIALIZED SKILLS : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills with desire to increase efficiency by using all available technology. COMPETENCE: Ability to priorities and plan effectively REQUIRED ATTITUDE TO PERFORM THE JOB: Proper, effective and compassionate communication. Must be able to respect a patient's right to privacy, which affirms that person's worth and dignity, shows respect for that person, and builds trust with them
