Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities The PCT Virtual Care provides continuous remote observation of patients identified as at risk for safety concerns. Using two-way audio and video technology, monitors patient behavior and promptly intervenes by verbally redirecting the patient or notifying clinical staff when necessary. This role supports patient safety, dignity, and privacy while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines and policies. Professional demeanor and discretion when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal communication using microphones, headsets, and webcams. Preferred Job Requirements: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting. Experience in direct patient care or patient observation roles.
