Responsibilities Manage complex scheduling and rescheduling for appointments, procedures, diagnostic tests, surgeries, and hospital admissions across multiple providers, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations. Greet and check in patients, assist with required forms, and prioritize urgent cases to support timely access to care. Coordinate multiservice appointments, manage highvolume phone calls, and streamline scheduling workflows. Work closely with clinic staff and patients to secure precertifications, insurance details, and financial information. Provide patients with appointment instructions, previsit requirements, and clear communication to support understanding. Verify insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, and arrange interpreter services or special accommodations as needed. Organize departmental records and prepare patient outcome reports to support timely followup and communication. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or another related field is preferred. Experience: At least three years of customer service or healthcare related experience is required. Three or more years’ experience working in a medical office performing duties such as scheduling, patient check-ins, insurance verification, and maintaining medical records is preferred.
