Position Summary: he Medical Office Assistant - Call Center handles inbound and outbound calls. Their responsibility is to respond to incoming calls from patients to register and schedule patients for appointments at the Family Medicine Clinic. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Answer incoming calls from patients. Assists with scheduling patients Serves as a resource and provides direction to patients Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them in the EHR. Adheres to the policies and procedures of University Clinical Health Performs other duties as assigned Core Competencies: Adheres to the policies and procedures of University Clinical Health Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization Exceptional communication skills Excellent telephone etiquette Knowledge of medical terminology Analytic skills to accomplish outreach calls and coordination/prioritization of tasks Requirements Education & Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma is required Minimum of 1+ years experience working in a call center preferred Understanding of medical insurances preferred
