Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum $17.63 - $22.54 - $29.24 Baystate Health, Western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices, the largest multispecialty group in the region is looking for a Full-time Patient Service Representative to join our experienced Mason Square Health Center team in Springfield, MA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents. SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours a week Monday through Friday, 7:30a-4p One evening (M or Th) 5-8pm and one Sat per month 8a-12p LOCATION: 11 Wilbraham Rd. Springfield, MA QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED, required At least 6 months in a medical office setting, preferred Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service THE ADVANTAGES OF WORKING WITH BAYSTATE!
