Ideal candidate will have Geriatric experience in home health, hospice, or long-term care office settings. Candidate would thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment.
The PACE Patient Service Representative (PSR) is responsible for all activities related to scheduling specialty appointments deemed necessary by the PACE Interdisciplinary Team (IDT). The PSR supports the program with additional responsibilities such as reviewing referrals, managing work queues, authorizations, faxing, billing, and claim reports. The PSR reports to the PACE Center Manager and works collaboratively with the IDT, center staff, and external partnerships through a broad means of communication. This role works closely with the PACE Transportation Supervisor to support effective transportation operations as well as the PACE Clinic for continuity of care with specialty appointments. The PACE program’s vision is to provide individualized and joyful care through exemplary teamwork serving as many seniors as possible with the best quality-of-life in their communities. QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED- Required
- Associate’s Degree- Preferred
- 3 years Administrative or Scheduling- Required
- 1 year Healthcare - Frail or Elderly Population- Required
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association- Within 90 Days- Required
- Driver’s License- Required
- Medical Terminology Course- Preferred
