Since 1971, our practice has expanded to 17 physicians and 13 advanced practitioners including a state of the art Endoscopy Center. We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic and professional individual with the knowledge to drive our team to continued success. One who is passionate about their work and has complete dedication and determination to meet and exceed the needs of our patients. Willing to train a highly motivated and dependable individual with no experience who obtains the eagerness to learn and offers excellent teamwork skills. This is a full time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position. As a Patient Service Representative, your position will include one of the two positions listed below: Position 1: • Answer incoming calls • Schedule appointments • Route calls as appropriate to clinical staff • Confirm insurance is a participating carrier • Assist with various patient correspondences Position 2: • Call patients to schedule appointments from hospital consults and referrals • Send follow up letters to primary care • Confirm insurance is a participating carrier • Assist with various patient correspondences Requirements Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required • 2+ years medical office experience preferred • Previous scheduling experience preferred • Previous medical office software experience preferred • Strong computer skills • Knowledge of HIPAA Skills • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work as a team as well as individually • Ability to multitask and prioritize Hourly Range: $16.00-$20.00 - Pay rate varies based on skills, experience and qualifications We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, personal, and holidays, medical and dental insurance, 401K with match and Profit Sharing plan.
