IMMEDIATE OPENING: Medical Receptionist / Practice Support Associate Join One of the Largest & Most Respected Healthcare Systems on Long Island We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist / Practice Support Associate to join a fast‑paced, patient‑focused medical practice. This is a stable, long‑term opportunity with room for growth, offering the chance to become part of a leading healthcare network. 📍Lake Success, NY 💲 $24/hr 🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of healthcare administration experience Proficiency with EMR systems Strong Microsoft Office skills Experience with patient check‑in, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling Excellent communication and customer service abilities Key Responsibilities: Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments Provide administrative support to physicians and practice management Manage and maintain patient records Scan insurance cards, referral forms, progress notes, and other documentation into the EMR Handle insurance verifications, referrals, and authorizations Retrieve procedure and exam authorizations as needed Maintain and update all information in the EMR database Support billing functions and general office workflow Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Success, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
