Description The Patient Service Specialist will: Demonstrate the ability to organize the office efficiently and effectively. Contribute to a pleasant and cooperative team environment. Cross train in all areas of reception. Accurately and expeditiously register patients. Demonstrate the ability to respond to requests for information, both patient specific as well as practice specific. Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain office equipment. Demonstrate the ability to accurately prepare and maintain patient charts. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Six (6) months’ customer service/clerical experience, including computer operation Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) Proficient typing skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.50 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
