Description We are currently hiring for multiple positions, with training to take place at our Columbia, TN site. Team members will then transition to the new Lawrenceburg location once it opens. This position is a full-time, permanent non-clinical position within Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance in Lawrenceburg, TN. Responsibilities: Demonstrate exceptional customer service and patient focus to make each encounter as positive as possible. Greet patients as they arrive and facilitate the registration process. Work closely with clinical colleagues and administrative teammates to develop a cohesive, high-performing team. Verify patient demographic information upon arrival. Update and change insurance information as appropriate. Collect copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, and balances. Verify Insurance coverage. Respond to patient billing or financial inquiries Ensure that all documentation is scanned, and information entered accurately Assist with patient order management and answering the phone Submit charges for therapy services Complete cross training for the therapy front desk (answering the phone, scheduling patients for, assisting in patient care as needed, completing therapy reports, assist with account payments and estimates) Completing patient paperwork and submission for DMEs Be efficient and competent in completing the necessary therapy reports Respond and address clinical tasking needs Display appropriate communication with patients (in person and over the phone) and team members to provide quality customer service Display knowledge of electronic documentation portal, Microsoft office, and therapy billing guidelines Perform check-in and check-out duties, including appointment scheduling, patient callbacks, and rescheduling as needed. Requirements Experience collecting co-payments, deductibles, coinsurance, and balances. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures. Professional personal presentation and excellent customer service practices Previous experience and knowledge of insurance. Preferred: NextGen Software experience.
