THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our casual pool and support departments across the hospital.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and the smooth running of hospital operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Currently studying Nursing (Year 2 or 3).
• Certificate IV in Health Services Assistance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

• Assist clinical staff in providing high-quality care and patient support.
• Provide transport services using hospital-approved equipment and vehicles.
• Assist patients on admission and help them settle comfortably.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared areas in line with infection control standards.
