Your role at St John of God Bunbury Hospital We are seeking dedicated Patient Services Assistants to join our Environmental Services team. In this role, you will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care by providing vital support services to clinical staff, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients. This position is offered on a casual basis, providing flexibility while making a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting. The Position: Under supervision, responsible for assisting with transporting of patients and equipment. Responsible for cleaning kitchen and fridge and distributing patient trays, meals and menus Strip sanitising beds and remake after discharge of patients Cleaning, tidying and sanitising of ward area Checking inventory of oxygen and suction equipment, replacing as necessary after discharge and checking of oxygen cylinders Maintain stock levels in cleaners’ room and trolley Maintaining stock levels in cleaners’ room and trolley and reporting on faulty equipment Preparing snack meals when catering staff is absent Caring for water jugs You will effectively prioritise work with minimal supervision and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment of change. In addition, you will have well developed communication and people skills and the ability to interact respectfully with patients in a confident and positive manner. We can offer you Casual Hourly Rate: $38.49 to $39.86 (inclusive of loading), plus 12% superannuation. Responsibilities
