We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Patient Services Associate to join our team at Franklin County CarePlex in Louisburg, NC. In this vital front-desk role, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients—setting the tone for a positive, patient-centered experience while supporting clinical operations through accurate registration, scheduling, and administrative coordination. Position Summary Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the Patient Services Associate provides high-quality, face-to-face customer service to patients and team members. This role ensures accurate patient registration, manages front desk workflows, and supports medical records and referral processes—all while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Welcome and check in patients in a professional, friendly, and timely manner. * Accurately collect, verify, and enter patient information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR). * Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed. * Collect payments and post transactions in accordance with cash management procedures. * Balance and reconcile daily cash drawer; prepare deposits when required. * Maintain organized and accurate patient records and documentation. * Serve as a secondary point of contact for inquiries from patients and external partners. * Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders. * Support a team-based approach to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Education and Experience Required Skills * High School Diploma or GED * 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role * Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel * Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities Preferred Skills * Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred. * Experience in a healthcare, dental, or medical office setting.  * Familiarity with EHR systems (EPIC experience a plus). * Experience working in a non-profit or community health environment. * Proven ability to multitask while delivering outstanding customer service.
