We have an exciting and diverse, permanent full-time role available, based on the Sunshine Coast across our brand-new Radiation Oncology Centre in the beautiful Noosa region and our Buderim clinic. There are two main elements and responsibilities to this role. A patient facing, Medical Receptionist role and a Community Engagement Administrative role. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to clients and staff while remaining professional, caring and friendly in an everchanging environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a desire to help others.

More specifically, you will:
- Work in a fast-paced administrative environment, where patient care remains the top priority
- Act as the first point of contact to patients and referring doctors – both face-to-face and over the phone
- Work closely with other GenesisCare departments to ensure smooth clinic operations
In the community engagement role:
- Marketing support to create internal and external collateral and communication utilizing Dot Digital, Frontify and Brandfolder
- Create and develop a portfolio of advertisements for Qld
- Manage event collateral and coordinate stock
- Assist with internal and external events.
- Maintain SalesForce Database.
In the Medical Receptionist role:
- Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations
- Able to travel between the Noosa and Buderim clinics where required.
- Maintain the doctors diary and ensure that all relevant paperwork and administrative processes are completed for appointments
- Receive and organise referrals of patients & promptly take relevant action
- Ensure all systems are used effectively to administer bookings
- Promote a positive image of the company and foster good community relations
- Billing and receipting at time of appointment
- Accurately process relevant paperwork including data entry
- Act as the first point of contact to patients and provide excellent customer service both face to face and over the phone
- Adapt to and manage an environment where there is ongoing change and competing priorities
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
- Experience in medical administration and reception
- Demonstrate strong time-management and organisational skills
- Have a collaborative and flexible approach, willing to adapt as competing priorities arise
- Show strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of patients, staff and referring practices
- Previous knowledge and experience with Medicare and clinical administration systems such as EMDAT, MOSAIQ and PBRC are highly desirable
