This team member is a vital part of BAFC as s/he is nearly always the first contact people have with our practice. The successful candidate will work well with our existing team of professionals to create an environment strong in customer service, organization and responsibility while creating and supporting a smooth operating office. Primary responsibilities include: Expertly answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude - Ensure new patient appointments are scheduled promptly - Schedule/book follow up patient appointments - Take messages accurately and ensure follow through - Provide superior customer service -Route electronic faxes to the correct team member Other duties may include: Confirming insurance benefits and deductibles Use of electronic medical records Faxing, copying, stocking Assist the doctors and office medical staff with various duties Experience and Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate who: - works calmly under pressure - is knowledgeable in switching between tasks and is detail oriented - is well organized and punctual - has incredible people and customer service skills - genuinely enjoys helping others - is a positive person, skilled in communication and listening - is responsible and trustworthy - must speak Spanish fluently - has professional attire, behavior and language Prior medical front office experience REQUIRED Job Type: Full-time Healthcare setting: Clinic Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday No weekends Experience: EMR system: 1 year (Preferred) Medical office : 1 year (Preferred) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Free parking Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
