Epic experience preferred. Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information. Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services. Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions. Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal. Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources. Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations. Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties. Completion of high school or equivalent required. Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred. Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 31, Act 33, Act 34, Act 73.
