Rebound is looking for a full-time Patient Services Representative to work in our Orthopedic and Neurosurgery Call-Center.  Primary duties include accurately obtaining patient information from established and new patients and entering the information into a practice management system for clinical messaging and patient scheduling.  This position will work in collaboration with other clinical staff and clinic providers to provide exceptional service to our patients and families.  Responsibilities: * Support an environment that reinforces Rebound’s mission and Core Values of Superior Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Recognition. * Book, coordinate and reschedule patients appointments based on defined appointment protocol. * Relay necessary messages to staff via the patient chart. * Is cognizant of the abandonment rate to ensure that call turnaround time is minimized and patients are not left pending in the appointment queue. * Maintain and update current information on physician schedules. * Answer telephone, screen calls, take messages, and provide information. * Answer questions regarding patient appointments and testing. * Monitor physician schedules to make sure they are meeting designated protocol standards. * Assist with daily reschedule list. * Attend meetings as required. * Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations. * Perform related work as required. Requirements: * One year customer service experience and/or medical office experience preferred. * Ability to manage a multi-phone line system. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to analyze and resolve complex patient situations. * Ability to multi-task while operating several windows based programs. * Ability to work independently but also as a team.
