WORK SCHEDULE Full-time Days (100% FTE) Monday- Friday 1030am-700pm POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Conveniently located near public transportation Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule patients focusing on patient safety and reducing the likelihood of medical health errors Participate in process improvement projects Audit online tickets, scheduling appointments for accuracy of order placement, referral completion and resource selection Act as a subject expert for the department scheduling model, think critically, and troubleshoot Epic errors for the team Function proficiently within the team to assist with training of new staff and act as go team resource Support team Lead in day-to-day operational goals Respond to patient's need and concerns as appropriate maintaining Patient First mentality REQUIREMENTS High school graduation or equivalent Two years Patient Services Specialist 2 experience OR equivalent combination of education/experience ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
